Fishing
Entering its sixteenth year, Australia’s richest freshwater fishing tournament and the most eagerly anticipated fishing social event of the year, the 2017 Yamaha Cod Classic and Junior Cod Classic, is drawing near.
This December see Lake Mulwala come alive with an expected 3,000 plus anglers and 1,400 boats. The Cod Classic continues to offer an amazing prize pool totalling in excess of AUD100,000, including a number of boating packages. All the normal features remain including Flathead Fred, ‘Cod Talk’, casting competitions and the Fishing and Outdoors Expo. You would be crazy to miss this great weekend in Yarrawonga Mulwala and the chance to ‘catch a legend’ on the twin towns’ famous Cod fishing lake. Friday from Midday is the Fishing and Outdoors Expo.
